The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the first batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to the board, candidates who sat for the exam on Thursday, April 16 can now check their scores. This update was confirmed on Friday night.
JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, noted that candidates can currently only access their scores. The option to print result slips will be made available later.
The board also cautioned candidates against tampering with their results, warning that altering official messages is considered a criminal offence.
The UTME, which commenced on April 16, will run through April 22 at accredited centres nationwide.

- Send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB registration
- Ensure you have at least ₦50 airtime
- Wait for your result to be delivered via SMS
