I’m a Street Girl — Bimbo Ademoye Fires Back at Area Boys (Video)

Popular Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye was recently involved in a tense encounter while filming on location, after a group of area boys reportedly showed up demanding payment before allowing the shoot to continue.

The incident came to light through a video shared on X by a user identified as Usmanashafe on Thursday.

The footage shows the actress engaging directly with the group, who insisted she pay them for using their neighbourhood as a filming location.

Rather than backing down, Bimbo stood her ground, addressing the situation firmly while maintaining control of her emotions. Although visibly upset, she made it clear that she was not opposed to offering financial support, but objected strongly to the approach and tone of the demands.

“I am a street girl, let me tell you. Ask around when it comes to matters of the street, I like settling boys. But you don’t come to me and start telling me the amount to give. Yes, you came to beg, and you’re even being proud of it,” she said.

As the exchange grew more intense, one of the men reportedly threatened to switch off her camera, raising the stakes of the confrontation.

The actress, however, did not hesitate in her response, dismissing the threat with a pointed remark.

“Camera that nobody in your generation has,” she replied sharply.
