Popular American rapper Cardi B has threatened legal action against individuals who allegedly stole her credit card and used it to make expensive purchases.
The artist made the revelation during a recent Instagram livestream, where she explained that her American Express card had been taken from her wallet a few days prior without her knowledge.
According to her account, the suspects wasted no time in using the card, embarking on a shopping spree that included high-value transactions at luxury and tech retail outlets.
She claimed that about $40,000 was spent at Saks Fifth Avenue, while another $20,000 was used for purchases at an Apple Store before she managed to freeze the card.
Expressing frustration over the incident, Cardi B made it clear that she takes financial matters seriously and would not overlook the situation. She also revealed that she has obtained clear images of the individuals involved, suggesting that their identities could soon be confirmed.
“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money.
“You all went to Chase trying to get money out. I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in the Apple store. You all are going to jail,” she said.
